About:

Functions:
1. Colorant - Pigments or dyes that are added in order to change or enhance the color.
Allura Red AC is a red azo dye commonly used of all the food dyes (E number 129) in many products, such as soft drinks, cotton candy, cereal, beverages, snacks, gelatin desserts, baked goods and ice cream. It is also found in children's medications and cosmetics.
It is approved for use as food coloring in EU and subject to certification and permanently listed for use in food, drugs and cosmetics, including drugs and cosmetics for eye area in US.
